DIGICEL LAUNCHES THEIR “BACK TO SCHOOL” CAMPAIGN!
Friday August 13th 2010, Anguilla: Digicel, Anguilla’s Bigger Better Network, has announced details of its “Back to School” promotion which will give five lucky students school scholarships worth EC$1,000 each.
The promotion – which runs until September 3rd – gives customers the chance to nominate a child to be one of five winners of EC$1,000 in school scholarships with the purchase of any new handset or postpaid plan. In addition, customers get $60 free credit with the purchase of any new Digicel prepaid handset.
Digicel Anguilla’s Country Manager, John Gidharry, said; “We’re always looking for ways to ensure that what we do benefits those around us. As such, we’re delighted to be able to give our customers the chance to provide their children with the very best start they can this school year.

As part of its ongoing commitment to Anguilla’s youth, Digicel also recently sponsored supplies to the Blowing Point Youth and Development Center summer day camp for children living in Blowing Point and the surrounding communities. The camp will be taking place from August 9th through the 21st and hosts over 30 children between the ages of 10 to 18 to 2 weeks of events including various activities about ‘life on the sea’.
