Digicel Celebrates Anguilla Day with the Valley Community Island Boat Ride!

May 25^th 2010, THE VALLEY, ANGUILLA: Digicel continues to show their involvement in the Anguillian community in bigger and better ways. As a part of the Anguilla Emancipation Celebration, Digicel is proud to give back to the island by sponsoring the Valley Community 4^th annual Anguilla Day boat ride.  The boat ride gives the islanders the opportunity sail around the island on a large shipping badge whilst enjoying the music of 3 local bands. This one way in which the Anguillans pay homage to the hero’s and heroines of the island.

Digicel is more than thrilled to be the platinum sponsor of the sail around the island and further showed their appreciation by giving all onboard Unlimited local SMS FREE during the 5 hour excursion.  Digicel also provided various cash and prizes for all winners in the different onboard activities.

Digicel plans to continue showing their support for the Anguillian Community by doing such initiatives like these in the future.
